VDA QMC China Welcomes Stefan Bücke as New General Manager

Starting 1 March 2025, Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Bücke will take on the role of General Manager at VDA QMC China. With extensive expertise in the automotive industry, particularly in quality management and Sino-German cooperation projects commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), he brings a deep understanding of industry regulations, cross-cultural collaboration, and strategic development.


His leadership and vision will play a crucial role in further strengthening VDA QMC China’s position as a key player in the region. Under his guidance, the organization will continue to drive innovation, enhance quality standards, and foster strong partnerships across the automotive sector. We look forward to his contributions in shaping the future of automotive quality management in China

With over two decades of experience in the automotive and technology sectors, Stefan Bücke has held leadership roles across Germany, China, Japan, and Spain, driving innovation, strategic partnerships, and cross-border collaboration. His expertise spans quality management, intelligent driving functions, e-mobility, and industrial data ecosystems.

The VDA QMC China has been founded in February 2006 in China. The tasks and services provided by the VDA QMC China are working on issues in automotive quality management related with the target of continuous improvement. The spectrum ranges from the development of systems and methods to the design of future quality management systems and to improve your production capability and know-how.

The General Manager of VDA QMC China is supported by the expert team of German OEM and suppliers in China (QM committee China). The VDA QMC China reports to VDA QMC Headquarters in Berlin. The QMC China are controlled by the Quality executive committee in German, the QMB. VDA QMC China now has two branches in China, located in Beijing & Shanghai.
